About My Clients
Sometimes we feel stuck, lost, hopeless, stressed, or maybe even all of the above. We have past experiences that still hurt or that we would prefer to forget. We question our place in the universe or where we are headed. All of these ways of being are part of our journey through life, but they are made more tolerable and may even be transformative when you have someone to help sort things out, explore and discover, bounce ideas off of, or even just plain bear witness to your experience.
My Background and Approach
I am a LPC and NCC currently practicing in Broomfield, CO. I graduated with honors from Regis University in 2019 with a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and have been working in the field for 8 years. In addition to my 3 years of experience providing individual psychotherapy, I also have experience which includes 2 years at an outpatient psychiatric rehabilitation program, 2 years in community mental health, and 4 years in an intensive treatment inpatient hospital setting. I have a primarily Jungian/Depth approach with a passion for working with the unconscious and dreams and am also formally trained in EMDR. I work from an eclectic approach, using techniques and ideas from many different modalities. These include mindfulness, Gestalt, Existential, CBT, and Somatic Experiencing to name a few. Most importantly, I approach our work together from a non-judgemental and collaborative perspective, recognizing you as the expert of your experience to find what works best for you.
