About My Clients
Many of my clients are teens and adults feeling stuck or overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, trauma, or relationship challenges. I help clients break out of patterns that hinder their connection with themselves and their ability to live fully. I often support those facing identity issues, complex family dynamics, or recovery from loss or abuse.
My Background and Approach
My approach is rooted in psychodynamic, humanistic, and attachment frameworks—meaning we'll explore how your past influences your present relationships and challenges while prioritizing self-acceptance and self-compassion. I balance these principles with evidence-based tools to tailor our sessions to address your unique needs. My goal is for you to rediscover your sense of self, find what works for you and let go of what doesn't—and finding moments of joy along the way. I earned my Masters in Social Work from the University of Washington, where I worked with individuals facing poverty, intimate partner violence, and homelessness. I then worked as a primary therapist at a PHP/IOP for individuals and families facing severe mood and anxiety disorders. These experiences deepened my understanding of the intricacies of human emotions and strengthened my commitment to guiding clients on their healing journeys.
