About My Clients
Do you feel overwhelmed no matter how hard you try to keep up? Are you constantly behind, overthinking everything, or wondering why simple tasks feel so hard? I know what that’s like: the mental noise, the pressure to do more, and the frustration of feeling stuck. Living with ADHD, anxiety, or depression can wear you down, and I don’t want you to face it alone. With the right support and practical tools, things can get easier, and I look forward to helping you feel more in control of your life.
My Background and Approach
The tools I use in sessions are ones I’ve built over years of working with students and adults who felt overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward. Before becoming a therapist, I spent a decade as a school psychologist helping people understand how they learn, think, and cope. That experience shaped my style: practical, thoughtful, and focused on what actually helps in real life. My goal is for you to leave therapy with tools you can use anywhere. Not complicated theories, but simple strategies to help you focus, calm your mind, manage emotions, and handle hard moments. We build these tools together, at your pace, in ways that fit your life. I’m collaborative and supportive, but also active and goal focused. We won’t just talk about what’s hard. We’ll work on what to do about it, starting with what’s bothering you right now and building skills to help you feel more in control.
Why I Became a Therapist
I became a therapist because I believe people can change and grow at any point in their lives. I don’t think anyone is broken. I think most of us are doing the best we can with the tools we were given, even when those tools stop working. Before becoming a therapist, I spent a decade as a school psychologist working with students who struggled with focus, anxiety, depression, motivation, and feeling misunderstood. I saw how often people were labeled instead of truly supported. I also saw how powerful it was when someone finally felt understood and given tools that actually fit how their brain worked. That experience showed me what I wanted to do long term. I wanted to help people understand themselves, and create lives that feel more manageable and meaningful. I became a therapist to help people feel less alone, more capable, and more in control of their lives. If you’re ready to understand yourself better and build tools that really work for you, I’d love to help.
