About My Clients
My training includes working with issues surrounding depression, anxiety, trauma, impulse control, and various life adjustments. Insight alone is not sufficient to generate change. Lasting change comes from addressing core beliefs which originate in childhood, which are buried under the muck - the stuff of life that has accumulated over the years.
My Background and Approach
Many people have chronic low self-esteem stemming from early childhood messages received from adults and others in their lives. The coping skills used at that time may have been adaptive, but in the present, they are no longer helpful. If you are depressed, anxious, and feel alone, don't know what to do, or if you suffer from a difficult past, I can help. You're not alone. I engage in strengths-based, solution-focused person-centered work and use a variety of traditional mental health modalities.

I am an open, nonjudgmental and compassionate listener who is an active participant in the therapy process. I will support you as you identify your goals and start on your journey to a happier, healthier and more successful life. I believe therapy is about hope, and that it is an act of self-care. I believe individuals have the answers that are best for them
