About My Clients
My professional interests and experiences lie in the following areas: Trauma, Depression, Gender-Based/Sexual/Emotional Abuse, Neurodivergence (ADHD, ASD, etc.), Relationship Issues, Life Transitions, and Self-Esteem.
My Background and Approach
I am an LICSW (Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker) with a BA in Middle Eastern Studies, Anthropology and a Masters of Social Work. I decided to become a therapist after living and working in low-income communities throughout my life. Witnessing the stark lack of mental health services for BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and other marginalized communities fueled my passion for making a difference.
