About My Clients

I work with adults who look put-together on the outside but are carrying more than most people see — fathers navigating identity shifts, couples who've become efficient but not intimate, and individuals facing anxiety, grief, or relational wounds. Many are high-functioning professionals who don't want to feel pathologized. You don't need to be in crisis to be here — just ready for more than coping strategies. I also work with clients exploring ketamine-assisted

My Background and Approach

I'm David Redish, LPCC, a contemplative psychotherapist based in Boulder, Colorado, offering telehealth across the state. I trained at Naropa University, where contemplative and somatic approaches are woven into clinical work rather than treated as an afterthought. My approach is depth oriented. I'm less interested in quick fixes and more interested in what's happening beneath the surface, in your body, your history, and your patterns. Many of my clients are high functioning: they show up, meet responsibilities, and hold things together, while quietly carrying anxiety, grief, identity shifts, or relational wounds that haven't had room to be spoken. In sessions, I bring a steady, non pathologizing presence. We pay attention to what you think, but also what you're holding in your nervous system, since talking alone doesn't always reach what needs to shift. I also offer ketamine assisted psychotherapy for clients whose patterns feel stuck at a level words haven't been able to access.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe healing happens in relationship, not isolation. Most of us learned to manage life alone, and therapy is a chance to be truly witnessed instead. I believe the body holds what words sometimes can't reach, and that real change comes from depth, not just coping strategies. I don't believe in pathologizing normal human struggle. You're not broken, you're carrying something that hasn't had space to be felt. My role is to offer steady presence while you find your way back to yourself.
