About My Clients
I work with families and couples using an attachment-based, Emotionally Focused (Family) Therapy approach to help clients move out of conflict and into deeper connection. I also support children and individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, neurodivergence, OCD, and emotional overwhelm to strengthen regulation, self-understanding, and their sense of safety.
My Background and Approach
For individuals, I integrate parts-based approaches, such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), with narrative therapy. This means we will explore the different parts of you that have developed to cope, protect, or manage difficult experiences, while also examining the stories you’ve come to believe about yourself and your life. Through this process, therapy can help you hear your own voice more clearly and develop greater self-compassion. I also specialize in play therapy for children and adolescents. In play therapy, I create a safe and supportive space where children can express themselves through toys, games, and imaginative play. Through this process, children can work through difficult emotions, experiment with new roles and behaviors, and build important social and emotional skills. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Growing up between cultures shaped how I understand people and relationships. Navigating different expectations, values, and ways of communicating often meant learning to pay close attention to context, family dynamics, and the unspoken stories that influence how we relate to one another. Those experiences continue to inform how I show up as a therapist today. I believe that relationships shape how we love, protect, and understand ourselves. Whether you’re a couple feeling stuck, a parent worried about your child, or an individual navigating trauma, neurodivergence, or family-of-origin dynamics, therapy can be a place to slow down and make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface. Together, we’ll explore patterns that no longer serve you and build new ways of connecting that feel secure, clear, and supportive.
