About My Clients
Are you willfully looking for additional support to make some changes. Are you having difficulties at work, school or in your daily life. I provide therapy and guidance to children, adolescents and adults that need additional support. I work with those in need of clearer vision from depression, anxiety, academics and behavior to include work related issues. I look forward to working with clients who want something to change and need additional support to make that happen.
My Background and Approach
My professional career in mental health started in the U.S. Navy in 2004. I have since worked with private institutions helping those in need of additional supports to overcome obstacles that cloud the path to being their most successful self. I continued my service by becoming a professional school counselor in the state of Georgia in 2014. As more and more people were affected by the Pandemic, I began seeing clients Virtually in 2019 as an Associate Practicing Counselor. After completion of earning my Ed.S degree I became an independent and Licensed Professional Counselor in 2021. I have experience in working with clients who need additional supports as well as strategies to deal with depression, anxiety, grief and loss, and work related difficulties.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I understand that as a human , everyone will struggle, and no one person has all the answers. I trust that with guidance and directions, everyone will benefit from having a trained supportive professional in their corner listening and being authentic with a holistic approach to their client. I have the privilege of working with amazing people daily that are willing to change. While serving in the U.S. Navy, I had an understanding that people are driven by what's going on in their mind and how they see themselves in the world. Working in mental health and dermatology my love of the profession grew. After completing my service obligation, I started the path to becoming a License Professional Counselor. Today , I take the title to heart and continue with a servant attitude with an holistic view of each individual.
