About My Clients
My clients are individuals and couples seeking affordable, accessible therapy to navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, or relationship challenges. Some come to address past pain or life transitions, while others want to improve communication and rebuild trust. Whether meeting in Pleasant Hill or online across California, my clients appreciate a supportive, non-judgmental space where they can feel understood and begin creating meaningful change.
My Background and Approach
I became a therapist to help people feel less alone in life’s hardest moments. My training as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT #158121) has focused on supporting individuals and couples as they navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, addiction, stress, and relationship challenges. I practice under the supervision of Stephen Polin, LMFT #7861. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and practical. I believe therapy works best when it meets you where you are—whether that means slowing down to process pain, or building tools to manage day-to-day struggles. I draw from evidence-based methods while keeping our work grounded in your goals and strengths. Clients often describe me as warm and approachable. My aim is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to take steps toward healing and meaningful change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should be a place where you feel safe to be fully yourself—without judgment, shame, or pressure to “fix” everything at once. I see people as resilient, even when life feels overwhelming, and I believe change is always possible with the right support. I value honesty, compassion, and collaboration, and I trust that you are the expert on your own life. My role is to walk alongside you, helping you uncover strengths, heal from pain, and create healthier ways of relating to yourself and others. I believe growth often comes from exploring both the struggles and the hopes that bring you to therapy, and that the process can open the door to lasting change and deeper connection.
