About My Clients

Why does everything feel so heavy? You try to keep it together, but inside you’re replaying every mistake and worrying about what could go wrong next. Your mind rarely gets a break—constantly scanning for problems, second-guessing yourself, and holding you to impossible standards. The pressure never really lets up. You’re exhausted from carrying so much alone and wish you could finally slow down, catch your breath, and feel steady again.

My Background and Approach

You know there’s more to life than simply pushing through exhaustion—but right now the pressure won’t let up. Your mind keeps replaying mistakes, second-guessing decisions, and trying to hold everything together. I work with members of the queer community, first-generation Asian Americans, and individuals struggling with burnout, anxiety, and depression. Together, we’ll slow things down and explore the deeper emotions and messages shaping how you see yourself and your place in the world. Drawing from psychodynamic and somatic approaches, we’ll gently uncover the patterns that keep you stuck while reconnecting you with the strength already within you. Over time, many clients find they feel more grounded, self-assured, and able to move through life with greater clarity and confidence—no longer just surviving the pressure, but living with intention and authenticity.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Grief is central to how I understand therapy and healing. Years ago, I had a near-death experience that profoundly changed the way I see life. In the aftermath, I was forced to confront the fragility of being alive and the many forms of loss we all carry—loss of safety, identity, relationships, and the future we thought we would have. That experience reshaped my beliefs about healing. I don’t see grief as something to fix or rush past. I believe grief asks us to slow down, listen carefully, and make space for the truths we’ve had to carry alone. When it is honored rather than avoided, grief can become a doorway to deeper self-understanding, compassion, and meaning. Because of this, I try to create a space where difficult emotions are welcomed rather than pushed away—where you can bring the full weight of your story and not have to carry it alone.
