About My Clients
If you're dealing with grief from the loss of a loved one, trauma, battling depression, anxiety, stress, and a host of other challenges I can help. I see individuals, couples in all stages of their relationships, and families. I also have a passion for helping men find the emotional support/outlet to deal with their historical traumas, anger, abuse and other emotional concerns. Additionally I love to help helpers, and have been referred to in the past as the clinician's clinician.
My Background and Approach
It is really all about you, the client. I am here to help in anyway that I can. So about me... I am a licensed clinical professional counselor, board certified national counselor, and counselor supervisor. I have experience treating grief, complex trauma, depression, anxiety, and focus on male empowerment. Over the past 12 years since I started clinical practice, I have developed a very eclectic approach to therapy and attempt to tailor each client session to the uniqueness of each individual client. I pride myself in creating the "space" for you to explore more about your past pain/trauma, present challenges and goals for the future.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that each individual client has within themselves the power to change, live their ideal intended life, and maintain satisfying relationships. The counseling experience should provide an environment that is supportive, nonjudgemental, safe, and encouraging. I have been known to challenge my clients to confront their issues, and develop the inner fortitude to deal with life's many challenges.
