About My Clients
Those who work with me often find themselves stuck or unsure of what to do next. They find themselves hindered by depression, anxiety, trauma, or the unhelpful social narratives they have experienced. I help my clients by challenging them through thoughtful discussions, and providing a relationship based in safety.
My Background and Approach
My passion for mental health began in 2016 when I began an internship at Casa Youth Shelter, where I served at risk youth and their families. Casa Youth Shelter helped prepare me to work with people from all walks of life, and allowed me to use compassion and understanding to help families reunite. As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I continue the work of providing a safe, welcoming, and compassionate environment to allow my clients to work through their struggles, while having the support they need. I work to help my clients by unpacking the stories of their lives.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
An authentic relationship is essential in this process. I am honest with my clients while maintaining and upholding hope for change. I want my clients to feel that they can be who they are with me. The therapeutic relationship is a space where we can connect as people. Empathy and acceptance are the basis of my practice as we explore the unhelpful stories of life. Come write your story.
