About My Clients
I specialize in treating those teenagers, young adults, and adults whose lives have been negatively impacted by mental illness and/or significant life stressors. In my practice I help individuals treat the symptoms that are causing the most distress so they can begin to overcome the obstacles to health, fulfillment, and contentedness. In addition to the more traditional approaches to treating mood and anxiety disorders, I emphasize adopting lifestyle changes that lead to improved well-being.
My Background and Approach
I am a licensed clinical psychologist in the Young Adult Services division of the The Institute of Living at Hartford Hospital. In my late-afternoon/early-evening outpatient practice I enjoy working with people utilizing psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral theory and methods.
