About My Clients
Whether under pressure to perform and hiding feelings of unworthiness; beating yourself up over past failures and hurts; unable to overcome and feel secure; or internally conflicted and confused, I can help you find direction and peace. I can help you reconcile your past and replace fears about the future with meaningful growth. I offer psychological safety, curiosity, and honest, nonjudgemental feedback.
My Background and Approach
I offer a place to explore, understand, and organize the thoughts, feelings, and challenges you're facing. I can help you find the courage to examine the things you've kept hidden and put them to rest. I typically approach with motivational interviewing, building narratives or maps of feelings and behavior, goals and desires. We then work psychodynamically, using CBT and existential interventions to examine beliefs that help or hinder our progress. I believe in giving my best to my work. I have Master's degrees in Organizational Psychology and Clinical Psychology, both completed with honors – 4.0 GPAs. I have specialized training in addition, trauma-focused CBT, Gottman relationships, and crisis interventions.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am especially interested in supporting of men, adolescent boys, professional women, and creatives. I feel these groups are commonly misunderstood because most therapists lack real-world experience or have failed to examine their biases and beliefs.
