About My Clients
Are you struggling and wanting a more enriched life? Thru our work together, you will experience empowering and life transforming therapeutic solutions. My counseling is focused on your goals, is strength-based, and rooted in a systems-thinking approach. I embrace the fact every individual has unique strengths and needs. Together we will work in ways that strengthen your relationships with Self and others; while facilitating your mind, body, and spiritual health.
My Background and Approach
As in integrative psychotherapist, my therapeutic work is rooted in modalities such as mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Family Systems Theory, along with using a trauma informed approach when working with adults, couples and families. During treatment, I am likely to draw on ideas from one or more therapeutic methodology. I may suggest “homework” – things you can do at home between sessions to build upon our work together. I may also teach a practice of mindfulness, including meditative exercises to decrease stress and increase health and well-being. I will employ a diverse set of resources and modalities of therapy to assist in bringing about insight, change, growth and solutions.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe each person has unique strengths, opportunities and challenges. Thought collaborative therapy, each individual can connect with their true Self and work to fully express themselves for a more fulfilling life for themselves and others. In our work together, I strive to have full appreciation of you as a person, while respecting your individuality and diversity. Personally, I develop my own mind, body, and spiritual health through daily mediation, exercise in nature, yoga, and healthy eating.
