I've worked with adolescents and adults struggling with depression for the last 6yrs. We will work together to identify plan to decrease depression that will combine identifying activities to improve mood and processing past events and feelings.

We will work together to explore cultural expectations and compare them to individual expectations and feelings to find an appropriate balance is acceptable and comfortable.

I worked for 5yrs in a rehab facility for adolescents struggling with substance abuse and major mental health issues. I also provide consulting to parents and family members of a loved one struggling with substance issues to help process through the difficulty of loving someone that is struggling with substance use.

I've worked with addiction for the last 6yrs and at several levels of treatment. I've worked with adults in a day program and adolescents at an inpatient residential rehab facility. My goal is to help the individual and their families identify a treatment plan that prevents the need for the higher levels of treatment.

I work with families of individuals struggling with substance use to identify resources and develop a plan of action. This plan could include trying to get a loved one into treatment, learning new communication skills to decrease confusion and miscommunication, and ways to minimize enabling behaviors.
