About My Clients
My ideal clients feel overwhelmed, burned out, or stuck in survival mode due to anxiety, depression, trauma, crisis, or ongoing stress. Many struggle with intense emotions, suicidal thoughts, relationship challenges, or life transitions. They want a safe, nonjudgmental space to heal, build coping skills, regain stability, and move forward with more balance and self-trust.
My Background and Approach
My background blends trauma-informed, compassion-focused therapy with evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT skills, ACT-informed care, and humanistic therapy. I have experience in crisis intervention and suicide risk assessment, outpatient counseling, youth advocacy, restorative practices, and healthcare systems navigation. This allows me to support clients in both acute distress and longer-term healing. I take a collaborative, strengths-based approach, helping clients build emotional regulation skills, process trauma, strengthen coping strategies, and create realistic plans for stability and growth.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing happens in spaces where people feel safe, seen, and respected. No one is broken or beyond help , pain is often a natural response to overwhelming experiences. Therapy should be collaborative and grounded in both compassion and practical tools. I believe people already carry strengths within them, even when they feel depleted or stuck. My role is to help clients reconnect with those strengths, build skills that work in real life, and move toward greater balance, clarity, and self-trust at their own pace.
