About My Clients
You're successful by most measures. So why does something still feel broken? High achievers, professionals, and couples come to me when they've tried everything else — or when they're not sure therapy is even "for them." It is. And you don't have to have it all figured out before you call.
How I Can Help You
I left a career most people would never walk away from — not because it failed me, but because it wasn't enough. Twenty-five years as an attorney and General Counsel. Good work. Real money. And a growing sense that I was meant to be doing something else entirely. What finally pulled me was this: I'd seen what it felt like when a therapist asks exactly the right question at exactly the right moment — and something in you shifts. A door opens. I wanted to be the person who opens that door. That's what my clients — surgeons, attorneys, CEOs, and professional athletes — tell me I do. Not just listen. Not just reflect. Actually dig in, make connections, and ask the question that changes something. If you've tried therapy before and left feeling heard but unchanged, that's worth paying attention to.
Why I am a Good Fit for You
If you've sat across from a therapist and thought "they have no idea what my life actually looks like" — I might be a different experience. I started as a civil rights attorney before becoming a therapist, so equality and advocacy aren't buzzwords to me. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community myself, I bring lived understanding, not just clinical awareness. And despite the attorney-and-executive resume, I'm told I'm surprisingly easy to talk to — which I'll take as the highest compliment. I'm a good fit if you want someone who will actually help you look at things with insight from multiple angles, not just nod along. If you're ready for that kind of work, I'd love to connect.
