About My Clients
Do you feel like you’re juggling the weight of the world and struggling to ask for help? Are anxiety, life changes, or relationship challenges leaving you feeling stuck or overwhelmed? Many of my clients are women who look like they “have it all together” but feel disconnected inside. In therapy, we’ll create space to explore your struggles with compassion and uncover the strengths already within you.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a Master’s degree from Barry University. My experience spans community mental health, residential, and PHP/IOP levels of care, working with both adolescents and adults. I now primarily focus on supporting adult women in individual counseling. My approach is individual, holistic, and person-centered—I meet you where you are while encouraging growth, healing, and empowerment. I believe that all aspects of life—relationships, environment, health, and past experiences—contribute to your well-being. In our work together, I invite you to explore your challenges with compassion, recognize your strengths, and connect with the resilience that already exists within you. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, empowered, and aligned with who you are so you can navigate life with clarity, confidence, and self-compassion.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
How Did I Get Here? Welp. Therapy. Therapy isn’t just my career—it’s personal. I was always the friend people turned to, but behind the scenes I struggled with anxiety, people-pleasing, and conflict avoidance. When I finally put myself first and went to therapy, I discovered not only how powerful therapy could be, but how powerful I could be. For years, I lived in survival mode, telling myself life was happening “to” me. Therapy gave me tools to pause, reflect, and rewrite old patterns. I learned growth isn’t about perfection—it’s about facing the hard stuff and learning to thrive. These experiences inspired me to become a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, specializing in women’s mental health, life transitions, and relationships. I know the courage it takes to ask for help, and my mission is to create a compassionate space where you feel seen, supported, and empowered to rewrite your own story.
