About My Clients
Life is weird. It’s stressful, complicated, confusing, and painful, there’s no doubt. There’s something beautiful about being human and having a human experience with emotions. Sometimes it’s uncomfortable to acknowledge the pain you are in, it can feel like no one understands, you may feel stuck in attaining the life you desire, or that your fears and worries stop you from reaching your goals. Sometimes we need help embracing who we are and asking for help can be daunting, but I'm here for you!
My Background and Approach
There is no doubt that choosing a therapist can be difficult. I believe that you possess the strength and wisdom to create change and heal. I commit to make this an authentic and positive transition, and help you overcome stressful and painful experiences, gain a deeper understanding of your behavioral patterns, and help you reconnect and embrace yourself. I work with adults and millennials struggling with depression, anxiety, grief & loss, stress, work/school/life transitions, and healing from relationships & codependency. My holistic, strengths-based framework for treatment includes elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, & Solution Focused. I am a California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT116897). I hold a M.A. in Clinical Psychology with emphasis on Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University, a B.A. in Psychology from Woodbury University, as well as a Certification of Completion in Drugs and Alcohol Studies from Glendale Community College.
