About My Clients
I work best with people who are thoughtful, self-aware, and feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or burned out—often creatives, freelancers, students, and professionals navigating anxiety, depression, or life transitions. Many of my clients want therapy that goes deeper than surface-level coping skills but still offers practical tools they can use in daily life. They value insight, emotional honesty, and a collaborative relationship—and want care that feels intentional, human, and affordable.
My Background and Approach
Therapy at Clarity Counseling is provided by advanced PsyD doctoral fellows working within a structured training clinic under close supervision. I am a California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT #92438) and provide ongoing clinical supervision with high standards aligned with research-based counseling methods, APA ethics, and professional best practices. Our doctoral fellows are carefully selected and trained to offer therapy that is both grounded and relational. Depending on your needs, sessions may integrate evidence-based approaches (such as CBT- or DBT-informed strategies) with insight-oriented and process-focused work. Every client’s care is thoughtfully reviewed in supervision, which means your therapy benefits from multiple professional perspectives—not just one. This model allows us to offer high-quality, doctoral-level care on a sliding scale of $60–$120 per session, without rushing the work or sacrificing depth. Our focus is on helping you understand patterns,
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
We believe therapy works best when people feel respected, understood, and not reduced to a diagnosis. Our practice values equity, cultural humility, and access to quality mental health care—especially for those who are often priced out of private practice. We are committed to ethical training, thoughtful supervision, and creating a space where clients can explore their experiences honestly without judgment. We respect diverse identities, belief systems, and lived experiences, and we strive to meet clients with curiosity rather than assumptions. Therapy here is collaborative, transparent, and grounded in the belief that growth happens when people feel safe enough to reflect, question, and be real.
