About My Clients
You look like you have it all together. Inside, your head is full and you are running on empty. You show up for everyone else and stopped showing up for yourself. Maybe it is burnout, anxiety or perfectionism. Maybe a divorce, a career shift or a new season of parenthood left you asking, who am I now? You are a high achieving professional, and you are ready to stop surviving and start growing.
My Background and Approach
I'm Danyel Paulsen, LCSW, a Nevada licensed clinical social worker and founder of the RESET Method. For more than 20 years I have worked in community mental health, private practice and executive wellness, helping people reset their lives and come back to themselves. My style is direct, warm and practical. RESET stands for Regulate, Empower, Strategize, Express and Thrive. We calm the overwhelm first, then find the patterns that keep you overfunctioning, rebuild your confidence and boundaries, and create a clear plan for what comes next. You leave each session with tools you can use that same week. How you do anything is how you do everything, so we look at the whole picture: your work, your relationships and the identity under it all. I see clients in person at my Las Vegas office on West Charleston and online across Nevada.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone deserves to feel truly heard. I know what it is like to hold it all together for everyone else and go silent when it gets hard. That is why connection comes first in our work. You can show up exactly as you are, and I will meet you there with honesty, warmth and zero judgment. I believe how you do anything is how you do everything, and that real change happens in small, honest moments. I lead with integrity and I practice what I teach. Outside the office you will find me with coffee and intention in the morning, on long walks with my dogs, or laughing at a good comedy. I believe in the healing power of laughter, and you may hear some in our sessions too. I also host the RESET Vegas After Dark podcast, because I believe real conversations change lives.
