Hi! My name is Danny Varughese, and when it comes to my relationship with the art of therapy - there’s passion.

As simple as cognitive behavioral therapy may seem on the surface, I have found that the ideas contained within this category of ideas have many layers that reach beyond that simple surface. My own individual emancipation from my old paradigms occurred through the process of utilizing CBT upon myself. I come to the space with a lot of passion and independent research connected to the role that our thoughts, core beliefs, and behaviors may play within the unfolding of our lives.
I was officially certified in TF-CBT (Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) in 2020 and have conducted this specific therapy for many clients of all ages since being certified. I have done a great deal of independent research as well upon the delicacies involved within the art of processing traumatic experiences. It's extraordinary the degrees of healing that can occur when an extremely distressing event is processed in a safe space with deliberate intent.
For 60 weeks during the pandemic, I had conducted a weekly mindfulness meeting for all the staff at the therapy agency I worked for during the time. Throughout this process, I was able to refine my palette of mindfulness techniques as I consistently encountered the feedback of others' experiences while practicing visualization techniques, breathing techniques, and other processes. This refined mindfulness toolbox of mine is something I'm excited to utilize with you!
