About My Clients
I believe clients carry deep strength and resilience. I recognize how mental health is impacted by the systems we navigate, and I aim to provide a supportive, affirming space where clients can access their strengths, feel more empowered, and work toward their goals. I am proudly part of the queer community and bring lived experience navigating complex healthcare systems, which informs how I show up for clients.
My Background and Approach
My style of therapy is relational, direct, and strengths-based, grounded in a client-centered and psychodynamic approach. I am trauma-informed and work with my clients to co-create a space that feels safe and supportive. I tailor sessions to each client’s needs, incorporating additional interventions from Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and creative/expressive approaches. At SAYFTEE, I bring this relational and integrative perspective to my work with individuals in their late teens and older.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Before joining SAYFTEE, I provided individual therapy and case management to young adults at the Massachusetts College of Art & Design Counseling Center. I also trained at Riverside Community Care PACT, where he supported adults with serious psychiatric diagnoses in community-based care.
