My Personal Beliefs and Interests
To the field of mental health, I bring a decade of experience supporting individuals and organizations through times of challenge and change. In my work as a government consultant, I focused on understanding daily struggles, uncovering obstructive patterns, and collaborating to create meaningful, sustainable solutions. Today, I carry these values into therapy, holding space for both complexity and possibility. My belief that every individual is incredibly complex fuels my commitment to grounding my work in anti-oppressive values and a deep commitment to true healing and restoration. I have expertise working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, particularly those facing challenges related to sexual, gender, and racial identities. My identity and lived experiences, as a Black LGBTQIA+ therapist, allow me to meet clients with cultural awareness and authenticity, holding space for growth and possibility.
