About My Clients
My clients have a variety of presenting needs, concerns, and backgrounds. I enjoy working with individuals who are struggling with depression, anxiety, life transitions, interpersonal concerns, trauma, and historically oppressed identities. My ideal client is someone who is motivated to explore the ways in which their past and current experiences may be affecting their relationships and overall mental health.
My Background and Approach
My name is Danielle (she/her) and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in North Dakota and a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Minnesota. I have experience working within a variety of settings and with a variety of presenting concerns. I approach therapy from a relational psychodynamic lens and recognize the importance that the therapeutic relationship has with regards to individual growth. I'm a practitioner in EMDR and utilize this modality in my work with clients. Other modalities that I incorporate when relevant include CBT, DBT, ACT, and Motivational Interviewing. Acronyms aside, therapy is really about you and your needs, desires, dreams, and goals, so my intention is to provide a safe, affirming, and empathetic space for you to explore and process the experiences- both past and current- that shape who you are and your experience of the world.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I'm an advocate for social justice and am an LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, and AAPI ally.
