About My Clients
I work with children ages 6 and up, teenagers, and adults. I help those who are struggles with trauma, anxiety, depression, parenting, divorce and relationship issues. I help those struggling from toxic relationships teaching healthy boundaries and how to identify safe people. I also help teach and give tools to parents to help learn effective parenting skills that strengthen the bond, along with teaching children and teenagers how to effectively communicate their feelings.
My Background and Approach
Danielle has worked in private practice conducting individual counseling, marriage and family therapy, parenting skills, mindfulness, trauma work, PTSD, domestic violence, career counseling and motivational interviewing. She has also worked in psychiatric hospitals working with Schizophrenic patients and in nursing homes working with those who have Alzheimer's Disease and chronic pain. Danielle has worked as a school counselor helping build self-esteem, improve motivation, teach time-management skills and mindfulness to reduce performance anxiety. She has also worked within the community helping individuals from adolescents to older adults. I believe in a holistic approach, considering the mind & body connection using a personalized therapeutic experience to fit your exact needs, working together to ensure goals and a treatment plan. I specialize in Mindfulness, DBT, CBT, Trauma Focused, Art and Baking Therapy, Walk & Talk therapy, and Christian Counseling.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
In Danielle's free time she loves to spend time with her husband, son, family, friends and puppy. She loves to travel the world while gaining new experiences. Danielle is also an avid skier, hiker, nature lover, baker, artist, foodie, enjoys attending bible study, and yoga. She loves to celebrate life and take the good with the bad, learning from each. The reason why Danielle came to be a therapist is because of her own past and how she learned how to overcome it and rise above. Learning to trust in God and live a life full of faith.
