About My Clients
Much of my focus these days is on couples' work, including relationship, pre-marital, marriage, sex therapy, and parenting. I pull from the Gottmans and Relational Life Therapy in my couples sessions. Currently, all services are being offered online. I'll always have a special place in my heart for working through gender-transitions, teenagers turning into adults, and women looking to heal relationship patterns and love themselves.
My Background and Approach
I have a contemplative therapeutic approach, aimed at helping you gain awareness of your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors so you can find acceptance and move forward. It is important to understand the neuroscience behind what is keeping you stuck, and I target my interventions to help you rewire your brain.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in practicing what I preach. I never ask clients to do something I wouldn't be willing to do. If I ask you to meditate every day, I'll be going home and doing the same. I believe that we can all grow, change, and move forward. That we can break free from patterns passed down or created. I have a gift in seeing what is amazing about each of my clients until you can see it for yourself. I will also challenge you, poke holes in your theories, and hold up an honest mirror. I also know that if we don't change the way we think, our lives will always be this way. Not everyone is ready for a change. If you are, I'm here to help.
