About My Clients
My clients are adults navigating anxiety, identity, life transitions, existential questions, relationship issues, and the effects of complex trauma. I'm especially passionate about working with women, neurodivergent adults, and members of the LGBTQ+ community. As an LGBTQ+ clinician myself, I know how important it is to have a space where you don't have to explain or defend who you are.
My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy is always tailored to you because no two people are the same. Much of my work is rooted in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which helps us identify what truly matters to you and begin living in alignment with those values, even when difficult thoughts or emotions show up along the way. I also draw from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), which reminds us that acceptance and change can exist at the same time. You don't need to be fixed because I don't believe you're broken. Instead we will work together to discover new ways of moving forward. I also integrate attachment theory to help us understand how your earliest relationships may still be shaping the way you connect with yourself and others. When I work with couples, I incorporate the Gottman Method, an evidence-based approach that offers practical tools for improving communication, rebuilding trust, and creating a stronger emotional connection.
