About My Clients
I can be an informed, compassionate, non-judgmental advocate for those who feel stuck within themselves and/or within their relationships. Together we can explore through self-compassion, uncover strengths, and heal within yourself and your relationships. We will identify and practice effective ways to meet your individual needs and goals. I am passionate about working with couples, individuals, and adolescents seeking to explore themselves and their relationships.
My Background and Approach
My Masters level training in Art Therapy and background in philosophy and creative arts, make me more attuned to alternative styles of communication, including non-verbal, visual, and kinesthetic to allow for fuller communication in those times where words fall short of expressing the full picture.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a teenager growing up in the super competitive environment of Los Angeles, I always felt incongruent within myself; I was unsure if I was enough. Therapeutic exploration helped me acknowledge parts of myself that were trapped within the walls of anxiety and insecurity. Therapy helped me find healthy ways to cope, discover my strengths, and become comfortable in my own skin in a world that is constantly changing. Many of us want to like/understand/appreciate ourselves more or simply have better relationships, but often anxiety, stress, and trauma can make it feel impossible.
