About My Clients
My clients are adults, couples, and families dealing with a range of concerns and identities including relational conflict, identity exploration, self-acceptance and confidence, those with nontraditional relationships (ENM, kink), LGBTQ+ community, neurodivergent, and those with BPD traits.
My Background and Approach
I am a Master's level LMFT with special experience working with clients within the context of the systems they are a part of. I began working as a therapist in 2015 where I interned in a school system working with adolescents. Since then, I have worked for multiple years in both community mental health, providing therapy to a wide range of clients, and private practice where I have gained further experience in couples work. My therapeutic approach involves utilizing the therapeutic relationship as a dynamic tool to facilitate self-discovery and growth. I especially enjoy working with relational issues and conflict. The feedback I hear most often from clients is that they know I care about them and do not feel judged.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe every person has inherent worth and has the ability to create the change that they want to see in their lives. I believe that trans women are women and black lives matter. I firmly believe that I have the responsibility as someone with privilege to speak up loudly and often for those who have been historically and are currently disenfranchised.
