Everyone feels anxious or depressed at times. Difficult situations can lead a person to feel sad, lonely, scared, nervous, or anxious. These feelings are normal reactions to the stressors of everyday life. Are you experiencing these feelings daily for no apparent reason, making it difficult to carry on with normal, everyday functioning? When anxiety and depression are persistent, uncontrollable, or overwhelming it's time to seek help.
My Background and Approach
I strongly believe in the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. My goal is to help you understand that you don’t have to believe everything you think. During our time together, we will work on reframing negative or undesirable thoughts and identifying healthy coping skills to manage uncomfortable feelings. We will develop coping skills to help you manage intense or uncomfortable emotions.
