About My Clients
I specialize in working with teens, adults, and families—especially within Latinx and BIPOC communities—who are navigating trauma, anxiety, life transitions, or relationship struggles. My ideal clients are those who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected and are ready to explore their story in a safe, supportive space. I help clients reconnect with themselves, build emotional resilience, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
My Background and Approach
As an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, I bring a trauma-informed, culturally responsive approach to the healing process. I specialize in working with teens, adults, couples, and families—particularly within Latinx and BIPOC communities—who are navigating anxiety, trauma, identity challenges, or relationship issues. My training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and EMDR allows me to support clients in healing from the inside out, not just by changing thoughts, but by reconnecting with the body, emotions, and core self. I believe therapy should feel like a safe space where you're deeply seen and supported, not judged or rushed. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or ready for change, I’ll meet you where you are and walk alongside you at your own pace. My goal is to help you build self-trust, strengthen your relationships, and evolve into a more grounded and empowered version of yourself. You're not alone in this—healing is possible, and I'm here to help.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy is not only a space for personal healing but also a tool for collective liberation. I’m deeply committed to creating inclusive, culturally responsive spaces where people from all walks of life—especially those from marginalized communities—feel seen, heard, and empowered. As a proud ally to the LGBTQ+ community and a supporter of racial and social justice movements, such as Black Lives Matter, I bring an anti-oppressive lens to my work. I value authenticity, equity, and compassion, and strive to decolonize mental health by honoring the lived experiences and wisdom of each client. I’m passionate about serving Latinx and BIPOC communities and breaking generational cycles through trauma-informed care. Outside of therapy, I advocate for mental health awareness, volunteer in community wellness events, and support causes centered on youth empowerment and emotional wellness. My goal is to hold space that feels safe, real, and rooted in deep respect for your story.
