My Background and Approach
I offer compassionate, client-paced psychotherapy. We go as fast and deep as you're ready to go. I'm client-centered and am influenced by Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, Buddhist psychology, mindfulness and compassion practices. It can be difficult to reach out and seek support. It takes a bit of courage to start something new or to try something again. I'm happy to answer your questions and address any concerns. Therapy should feel safe and supportive. You may have questions or concerns about pursuing psychotherapy. What happens in sessions? Would I be a good fit for you? It should be a space for self exploration, curiosity and compassion, so we can really get to know yourselves, grow, and heal. I look forward to speaking with you!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Therapy is a supportive co-venture inside. You are the lead explorer. The therapist is the curious, inquisitive, and compassionate co-explorer who is there to help map the terrain and document the discoveries. Together a plan is made and each step is taken at your pace. You have everything you need to get started on this journey of Self discovery.
