Do you over-give in relationships, feel guilty setting boundaries, or freeze in conflict? Many of my clients struggle with people-pleasing, fawning, or replaying conversations wishing they’d spoken up differently. Others carry trauma, grief, or family conflict that shows up as anxiety, tension, or substance use. I support people navigating many types of relationships—including non-monogamous and LGBTQIA+—to build self-trust, regulation, and authentic connection.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, with more than a decade of experience helping people move through trauma, anxiety, grief, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. My style blends warmth, humor, and curiosity with evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, ACT, trauma-informed and attachment-based care. This means that in each session, you’ll not only feel heard and supported, but you’ll also walk away with practical strategies you can begin using right away to regulate emotions, improve communication, and break free from stuck patterns. I work with adults from all walks of life—whether you’re navigating family conflict, relationship stress, self-confidence struggles, or carrying old wounds that still impact your daily life. My practice is inclusive and affirming of all identities, relationship structures, and communities. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone has the capacity to heal, grow, and create meaningful change—no matter what their history or current struggles may be. My approach is grounded in authenticity, compassion, and creating a safe space where you can show up exactly as you are. I want therapy to feel supportive but also approachable, so you don’t feel like you have to edit or hide parts of yourself in our work together. I am deeply committed to equity and inclusivity, and I welcome people of all identities, backgrounds, and relationship structures. I am affirming of LGBTQIA+ communities, non-monogamous relationships, and I am kink- and sex-positive. Outside of therapy, I find balance in nature and time with my dog. I also value community care and support movements that work toward justice and greater access to mental health services.
