About My Clients
Many of the individuals I work with are struggling with unwanted (intrusive) thoughts, excessive worrying, often feeling depressed and/or struggling with feeling content with life. They are often finding themselves putting themselves down, not feeling like they are enough and/or placing high expectations on themselves. They also may be struggling with adapting to multiple changes and/ or stressors going on in their life, balancing their stress or simply support with improving their selfcare.
My Background and Approach
I have been working in the mental health field since 2014 with experience in various settings that includes hospitals, schools, in home services, offices and within the foster care system. I have been trained and utilized evidence based approaches that are cognitive based approaches that includes ACT, CBT, EXRP, mindfulness and exposure based therapies. My goals is to help my clients learn more about their symptoms and how they are impacting them and then work collaboratively with my clients to develop a treatment plan that moves towards a life they want to be living. Then assist my client with developing habits, routines, and changing perspectives to help them reach their goals.
