About My Clients

Do you ever feel weighed down by the past, like old wounds keep showing up in new ways? Maybe you’re navigating anxiety, depression, or the effects of trauma, and it feels overwhelming to manage it all on your own. Perhaps you’ve experienced difficult family dynamics, unstable relationships, or life transitions that left you questioning your worth or direction. I work best with adolescents and young adults who feel stuck, misunderstood, or unseen, especially those who have lived through trauma.

My Background and Approach

I am a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) in New Jersey with a passion for providing trauma-informed, client-centered care to adolescents and adults. My clinical approach is rooted in the belief that every individual has the capacity for growth and resilience, and I strive to create a safe, collaborative space where healing can take place. I hold a Master of Social Work degree from Rutgers University and completed my clinical internship at Bridgeway Behavioral Health Services, where I provided weekly individual and family therapy in an outpatient setting. My work focused on supporting clients through challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and life transitions. I integrate evidence-based modalities—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing—to help clients build insight, regulate emotions, and develop coping skills that support long-term well-being.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As a therapist, I value authenticity, compassion, and equity. I believe healing happens when people feel truly seen and supported, and I am committed to creating spaces where every voice matters. I stand firmly for social justice and am dedicated to culturally responsive care that honors each client’s unique identity and lived experience. I’m especially passionate about working with at-risk youth and young adults, as I believe early support can make a lifelong difference. My experiences have shaped a deep commitment to trauma-informed care, advocacy, and community connection. I identify as an ally to the LGBTQ+ community and support movements such as Black Lives Matter that call for equity, justice, and systemic change. I’m fluent in Spanish and passionate about bridging language and cultural gaps in mental health care to ensure services are inclusive and accessible.
