Receiving a diagnosis of ADHD can be incredibly validating and overwhelming. It provides us with a framework and entryway into better understanding ourselves. At the same time, individuals with ADHD have a history of being misunderstood, under-supported, and pathologized. Through a relational, creative, and somatic holding, I hope to remind you of the incredible gifts that this beautiful brain of yours also carries. To help you learn to regulate your emotions, and advocate for what you need
Sonya Renee Taylor (2021) writes that the "body is not an apology." I wholeheartedly believe this. At the same time, truly embodying this is HARD, and is a communal effort. Our bodies do not live in a vacuum, but are consistently being impacted/informed by the world, the systems, and the people around it. Through compassionate, somatic, and relational holding, I hope to help you reclaim a loving relationship with your body. To celebrate the uniqueness that makes you, YOU one breath at a time.
Chronic illness, fatigue, and/or pain can be incredibly overwhelming, and isolating. Do you find yourself stressing over self-care, feeling unsupported by loved ones, struggling to balance work, rest, relationships and your passions? Do you feel fragmented from your sense of self and the things that bring you joy? You are not alone! Through mindfulness techniques, nervous system support, and expressive art practices I hope to support you in experiencing more ease, joy, and wellbeing in your life
