About My Clients
I provide compassionate, evidence-based therapy for individuals navigating PTSD, trauma, grief, and high-stress life experiences. I specialize in supporting survivors of childhood abuse, narcissistic abuse, domestic violence, chaotic family environments, natural disasters, and infant or child loss. I also specialize in working with individuals in high-stress or high-risk professions, including healthcare workers, first responders, and veterans.
My Background and Approach
I am a University of Pennsylvania Fellow and a VHA trained psychologist with over 18 years in the field. I have chosen to dedicate my career to a specialization in trauma therapy, PTSD, complex trauma, and the treatment of veterans and others who have endured high stress professions. My approach to trauma-informed treatment is collaborative and compassionate and supported by evidence-based interventions. Using approaches like PE, CPT, CBT for PTSD, and other forms of trauma-focused therapy, I help clients process past experiences, build resilience, and develop practical coping strategies. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where healing is possible and lasting change can occur. I offer online sessions, with flexible scheduling and a sliding scale for those who qualify. If you are seeking therapy for trauma, PTSD, anxiety, grief, or work-related stress, I am committed to helping you achieve meaningful growth and relief.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a trauma-informed psychologist, I am committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and affirming environment for all seeking therapy. I honor the unique experiences each person brings, shaped by culture, identity, background, and personal history, and I embrace the richness that diversity brings to the therapeutic process. I practice with cultural humility, continually learning to serve clients from all walks of life with respect, empathy, and compassion. My practice is inclusive of individuals of all races, ethnicities, genders, sexual orientations, relationship structures, religions, spiritual beliefs, ages, abilities, body sizes, and socioeconomic backgrounds. I am particularly committed to supporting LGBTQIA+ clients, neurodivergent individuals, people with disabilities, immigrants, BIPOC communities, and survivors of trauma or systemic oppression. My approach ensures that everyone receives affirming, culturally sensitive, and trauma-informed care tailored to their unique needs.
