About My Clients
Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed by recent changes in life or not sure what your next steps should be, I’m here to support you. I work with many concerns, including depression, anxiety, family issues, financial stress, chronic illness and autism in both children and adults. We will work together to create an individualized treatment plan that focuses on your own unique needs and goals in a way that works for you.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Connecticut and hold a master’s degree in social work from Fordham University. Prior to starting my private practice, I worked with individuals across the lifespan and their families in an inpatient psychiatric setting and in outpatient group practices. My treatment approach uses evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy skills training, tailored to your own strengths, needs and goals. I always invite families to be involved in treatment whenever possible and am happy to coordinate with other providers to optimize your care. I offer day, evening and weekend appointment times via telehealth to accommodate busy schedules and make therapy a convenient process.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone deserves access to quality mental care and issues like finances, insurance and scheduling should never be a barrier. I pride myself on providing personalized treatment to every client within a small, solo private practice setting. I have extensive experience in working with those navigating stressors such as single parenting, financial strain and chronic illness. I also have a special interest in working with those on the autism spectrum.
