About My Clients
Before we begin our work together, I want you to know that I approach each client with openness, respect, and curiosity. I believe that therapy and psychological assessment are most effective when they feel collaborative and grounded in trust. My role is to listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, and help you make sense of your experiences, whether you are navigating a difficult season, seeking clarity about how your mind works, or looking to better understand yourself or your relationships.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Marriage and Family Therapist with over 20 years of experience in the mental health field. I earned my doctorate from the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology and completed my undergraduate and graduate studies at the University of Rhode Island, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a certification in Grief Counseling. I am PSYPACT licensed and offer telehealth services in over 40 states. I provide evidence-based therapy to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families using CBT, mindfulness, solution-focused strategies, and collaborative models. I work with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, OCD, parenting stress, and low self-esteem. I specialize in psychological evaluations and also provide immigration assessments. My evaluations explore ADHD, autism, learning differences, executive functioning, mood, anxiety, and personality. My work centers on helping people gain insight, build clarity, and feel deeply understood.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
At the heart of my work is the belief that meaningful change begins with a deeper understanding of the self. Whether you are seeking therapy or pursuing a psychological evaluation, I aim to create a space that feels safe, respectful, and collaborative. I view each person through a lens of curiosity and care, recognizing the complexity of your experiences, identity, and values. My role is to help you explore patterns, clarify what matters most, and move toward greater self-awareness and growth. Whether you are navigating a difficult season, searching for clarity, or looking to better understand how your mind works, I approach this process as a partnership grounded in trust, insight, and compassion.
