About My Clients
Are you feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, struggling after trauma, or trying to make sense of challenges in your daily life? Maybe you're navigating a major health change, battling self-doubt, or wondering whether ADHD explains some of your experiences. You don't have to figure it all out alone. I provide compassionate, trauma-informed care tailored to your needs, along with ADHD assessments to help you gain clarity. My goal is to help you feel understood and move forward in meaningful ways.
My Background and Approach
I earned my Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University and trained at the North Texas VA Health Care System, working with Veterans. I support adults and older adults navigating anxiety, OCD, depression, chronic pain and health conditions, insomnia, grief, low self-esteem, and trauma, including sexual, relational, and combat-related trauma. I also help individuals adjust to significant health challenges and life transitions. I provide comprehensive ADHD evaluations to help adults understand their attention difficulties and receive personalized recommendations. My approach is individualized, evidence-based, and trauma-informed. Using CBT and trauma-focused interventions, I help clients understand unhelpful patterns, break cycles of anxiety, and develop practical tools for lasting change. I strive to provide an affirming space for LGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities, neurodivergent individuals, and women navigating unique mental health challenges and societal pressures.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe our lived experiences shape how we see ourselves, relate to others, and navigate the world. Over time, our beliefs influence how we feel, behave, treat ourselves, and show up in our relationships. My approach is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and a commitment to understanding each person's unique story. I strive to advocate for LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent individuals and validate the distinct mental health challenges women face in a fast-paced society with competing personal, professional, and social demands. I believe everyone deserves to feel seen, heard, and affirmed in their experiences, without judgment. Together, we can explore the patterns and beliefs that may be holding you back and work toward greater self-understanding, self-compassion, and meaningful change. I believe that no matter how long you've felt stuck or experienced pain, it is never too late to grow, embrace change, and begin living in peace.
