About My Clients
You’re tired of the emotional rollercoaster—bursts of anxiety, shutdowns, blowups, or constant self-criticism. Relationships feel tense, or your child/teen is melting down. I help kids, teens, and adults build insight and practical skills that work: mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and scripts for hard conversations. Parents get coaching so home supports change. Evidence-based care that’s effective and relatable.
My Background and Approach
a trusting, collaborative alliance that feels safe, supportive, and focused on real change. Together we uncover strengths and resilience so you can move toward the life you want. I work with adults, adolescents, and children facing intense emotions, tough transitions, and stuck patterns—anxiety, mood, trauma, and challenges in relationships, family dynamics, and identity. I’m especially skilled at helping kids and teens develop emotion regulation and self-compassion, reduce disruptive behaviors, and equipping parents with tools to support change at home. Before private practice, I served as the Clinical Director of a comprehensive DBT program in Beverly Hills, and previously worked in community mental health and on research at USC, Columbia, and LMU. My approach blends attachment/psychodynamic insight with evidence-based tools from DBT and CBT so awareness becomes daily practices. Treatment is tailored, compassionate, and practical, guided by your goals.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe people can change at any age with the right mix of support, skills, and clear feedback. Suffering isn’t a personal failure; it’s often learned patterns that once made sense but no longer serve you. I value a therapy relationship that’s warm, direct, and collaborative. Insight matters—and so do tools you can use the same day. I draw on evidence-based care (DBT/CBT) while staying attuned to your history, culture, identities, and strengths. Progress is rarely linear; we celebrate small wins and keep going when it’s messy. Parents and caregivers are powerful partners for kids and teens, and I work to make home a place where skills stick. Above all, you are not your worst day, your diagnosis, or your past. With compassion and consistent practice, new possibilities emerge.
