About My Clients

My clients are people seeking a safe and welcoming space to explore their stories, identities, and experiences. Many are navigating trauma, migration, life transitions, or questions of belonging. They often come to therapy looking for relief from anxiety, depression, or grief, and a place where they feel deeply understood. My clients value a collaborative and culturally responsive approach that respects who they are in English or Spanish.

My Background and Approach

I am a bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor with almost 10 years of experience working with individuals, families, and communities in Chile and the United States. My background includes supporting people through trauma, migration, and major life transitions in settings ranging from public hospitals and community mental health centers to private practice. My approach is rooted in social justice, cultural humility, and the belief that therapy should honor each person’s unique story and identities. I integrate person-centered and narrative therapy with trauma-informed and systemic perspectives to create a collaborative and compassionate space. In our work together, I strive to help clients uncover strengths, process difficult experiences, and move toward healing, belonging, and growth. Clients often describe me as warm, attentive, and supportive, and I am deeply committed to building a therapeutic relationship where they feel safe, respected, and valued.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that we heal in relationship, and the therapeutic relationship can be a powerful one. I value social justice and cultural humility, and I understand how systems of inequality and migration experiences can shape mental health. In therapy, I aim to help patients recognize their resilience, rewrite limiting narratives, and nurture relationships that support well-being. Healing happens through compassion and collaboration, and each step is part of building a life where people feel seen, respected, and grounded in who they are.
