About My Clients
I specialize in working with people struggling with eating disorders, disordered eating, and body image distress. Many of my clients feel trapped in cycles of food, control, guilt, and self-criticism. Some appear high-functioning but privately feel overwhelmed by thoughts about food or their bodies. If you feel exhausted by these patterns, you are not alone. Together we work to understand the deeper emotional roots so healing becomes possible.
My Background and Approach
My approach combines evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills with deeper exploratory work that helps clients understand the emotional roots of their relationship with food and body image. I also guide clients in rebuilding trust with their bodies through mindfulness and intuitive eating practices. My goal is to support meaningful recovery and help clients develop a more peaceful and compassionate relationship with food and themselves.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe recovery is not about perfection or control, but about rebuilding trust with yourself and learning to relate to your body with greater kindness and understanding. Eating disorders often grow in environments of pressure, shame, or silence. Therefore, I focus on teaching clients that there is space for grounded in compassion, curiosity, and respect for each person’s unique story. Allowing a client to feel truly seen and understood is the first step towards recovery.
