In my opinion, one of the most important factors in getting to a place of grounding and healing, is having a strong connection and fit with your therapist. In our work together, you’ll find that my style is warm, compassionate, and empathetic. I don’t see therapy as a one size fits all approach. Depending on what’s going on for you and what you’d like to explore, each session will be different. From a person-centered approach, I pull in from different therapies and tools as needed. I’m not afraid to talk about anything you need to! I’ve been in this field for a long while, so nothing shocks me. I approach things from a place of curiosity and non-judgment. I enjoy fostering a space, both in my work and my life outside of therapy, that’s gender affirming and body positive, as well as sex positive, poly and kink friendly/affirming. I also strive to provide a supportive space that is culture affirming and trauma informed, with an understanding that you are the expert on your life.

Trying to navigate the mental health systems in our community can be daunting and confusing. We may also be dealing with doubt, from ourselves or even those around us, about whether we actually need support. I believe that putting our mental health as a priority, and taking time to tend to it, is never time wasted or lost.
