My Background and Approach
I am a depth-oriented psychiatrist and founder of Acheron Psychiatry. I integrate conventional, integrative, and psychedelic medication management with psychodynamic psychotherapy, emphasizing insight, emotional access, and sustainable change rather than symptom suppression alone. At Acheron, ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) is approached as a facilitator of depth work—supporting flexibility, reducing defensive rigidity, and allowing meaningful material to emerge within a structured, medically supervised process. I work collaboratively and at each patient’s pace, offering a grounded, steady space where insight can translate into real-world change. I provide in-person and virtual sessions in Lower Manhattan.

I created Acheron Psychiatry as a center for comprehensive, accountable care for mental health conditions affecting thought, mood, anxiety, attention and executive functioning. And as a setting for growth, transformation, and flourishing. Our practice philosophy is to help people experience trust in themselves and the serene and indomitable power of authentic being. We view every treatment as unique and are flexible in adjusting to your needs. Psychotherapy is always a delicate dance between hiding and revealing oneself. We are fluent and skilled in the language of unconscious processes and hope to help you perceive and integrate your truths that have been hiding in plain sight, bringing you healing and growth.
