My Background and Approach
Welcome to our practice. I am a licensed psychotherapist and trained psychoanalyst proudly serving individuals, couples, and business professionals throughout Westchester, NYC, and Online. I reside in Connecticut with my wife, five children, and our husky-mix, Maisy. I graduated with my Master’s in Social Work from Syracuse University. During my time in graduate school, I was the President of the Delta Gamma Chapter of the Phi Alpha National Honor Society, awarded NASW-CNY Chapter Student Of The Year, recipient of the Amy B. Watkins scholarship, and elected Class Marshall and Convocation Speaker for our graduating class. I am currently a Ph.D. candidate at The Institute for Clinical Social Work.My research interests include; parentification, role reversal, the parent-as-peer dynamic, the experience of a narcissistic parent, and the adolescent experience of the parent-as-peer dynamic. I also teach psychoanalytic theory and supervise clinicians at the CAPA institute.
