About My Clients
I work best with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, identity questions, or cultural stress. Many of my clients feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from themselves or others. I especially support those ready to explore their inner world and heal at a deeper level, including first-gen individuals, men seeking emotional growth, and those carrying generational or childhood wounds. You're not alone—and you don’t have to do this alone.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a strong foundation in trauma-informed care. My clinical training integrates EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychoanalytic theory, and a client-centered approach rooted in empathy and collaboration. I’ve worked primarily with adults navigating anxiety, depression, complex trauma, identity issues, and life transitions. My passion for neuropsychology and human behavior led me to this work, and my lived experience growing up in an Egyptian household deepened my understanding of cultural identity, intergenerational patterns, and the importance of belonging. I specialize in helping individuals unpack the impact of past experiences—whether it's childhood trauma, emotional neglect, or cultural pressures—and move toward healing and self-trust. My style is warm, relational, and grounded in the belief that lasting change happens when you feel safe, seen, and empowered to explore your inner world at your own pace.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a therapist and a person, I value authenticity, compassion, and cultural humility. I believe healing happens in spaces where people feel truly seen, not just for their struggles, but for their strength and potential. I’m passionate about mental health access, especially for men, first-generation individuals, and BIPOC communities navigating identity, intergenerational trauma, and emotional stigma. I'm a strong supporter of racial justice, LGBTQ+ rights, and inclusive, body-positive care. I advocate for creating safe, affirming spaces for all identities and lived experiences. Outside of the therapy room, I find grounding in music, motorsports, and meaningful conversations—and I bring that same curiosity and presence into my work with clients. Whether you're looking to unpack the past or move forward with intention, I’m here to support your journey with empathy, cultural sensitivity, and respect.
