About My Clients
Are you always a little bit afraid that an anxiety attack is waiting around the corner? Have you been hit with surprise anxiety more times than you can count? I know exactly what you're feeling: the pounding chest, the shortness of breath, the feeling that the walls are closing in and you need out NOW. Attacks can be terrifying, and I don't want you to have to suffer them anymore. Holistic practices can reduce anxiety tremendously, and I look forward to teaching you tools to take your life back.
My Background and Approach
Daniel Girard-Domena is a licensed clinical social worker who has been in the field for ten years, working with clients ages 7 and older and supporting various diagnoses. Using a client-centered approach allows the client and myself to build a therapeutic alliance in therapy. Working with the clients using this approach allows for an open dialogue to explore the client's thoughts, feelings, and concerns in therapy. When he is not working, he plays video games on either the Xbox or the PlayStation and find this relaxing and cathartic. He is a full-time student working on a master's in Media psychology, so he understands what many may experience with time constraints in their lives. Still, he tries to enjoy the outdoors with his dog and relax by watching TV late in the evenings. Life can be a struggle, but he focuses on the times he can enjoy and the things he can appreciate.
